Chess Nine: Chess Puzzles ("Chess Nine," "we," "us," or "our") is an iOS chess puzzle game designed for quick, offline play. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information Stored on Your Device

Chess Nine stores the information needed for gameplay locally on your iPhone or iPad. This includes your completed and unlocked levels and chapters, move records, coins, hints, daily rewards, and app preferences.

We do not operate player accounts, and we do not upload your gameplay progress, puzzle results, coins, or preferences to a Chess Nine server.

Information Sent Outside Your Device

Chess Nine does not send your local gameplay data to us. The app may make a network request only when you choose to watch an optional rewarded ad to earn an in-game reward, such as coins or a hint. Watching a rewarded ad is optional and is not required to play or complete levels.

The advertising provider may process technical information such as device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, and approximate location as described in its own privacy policy. Where required, iOS will ask for your permission before an app can track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Tracking and Advertising

We do not sell your local gameplay data. If you elect to use rewarded ads, the ad provider may collect or use information to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize advertising under its own policies and the choices you make in iOS privacy settings. You can review or change tracking permission in iOS at Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Apple Services

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may process information related to downloading, purchasing, or using apps according to Apple's privacy policy. Chess Nine does not receive or store your payment card details.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete the app or remove its data through iOS. If your device is backed up through an Apple service, Apple may retain an app backup according to your backup settings and Apple's policies. Data processed by an advertising provider is retained under that provider's policy.

Third-Party Services

Chess Nine may interact with Apple App Store services and an advertising provider when you choose to watch a rewarded ad. Those services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Chess Nine does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party ad, please contact the applicable advertising provider directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
